Note to Newsletter Subscribers

Hello!

Mailchimp, which is the service O.C. Writers uses to deliver our weekly newsletters, will be making some changes soon that might require us to drop subscribers who don’t regularly open the email messages. We love our subscribers and don’t want to lose anyone, so please be sure to open the email message even if you can read them in a preview form (like Outlook and other email software offer). If you can click a link, that would be even better.

Also, if you notice an interruption in your weekly newsletters, please drop me a note at info@oc-writers.com, and I’ll make sure you weren’t inadvertently removed from the list.

Anyway, I know this is a bit of a pain, and I’m sorry for that.

I hope you understand…

DeAnna

  1. Hi all, to help give some context, this is super important, these days mail service providers (like MailChimp) are getting increasing heat regarding managing spam and ensuring everyone opts in and is interested in the content they are receiving. If you receive an email and don’t open it or its associated links, it looks like you aren’t interested to the mail service provider, so they may cull the lead from the database or ask the client to do so. If you love OC-Writers (don’t we all! :-), show the love by taking the time to open it up and give it a read 🙂
