NOVEMBER 10: O.C. Writers’ All-Genre Critique Group is an opportunity for writers to get and give feedback on participants’ work-in-progress. The program takes place at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. Meetings are free and open to the public. https://www.facebook.com/events/2805373469564883.

NOVEMBER 12: O.C. Writers’ weekly Roundtable discussion group, featuring writing and publishing business topics, takes place from 10:30 to noon on Zoom. Meetings are free and open to the public. To receive Zoom access information, email Roundtable leader Casey Dorman at info@oc-writers.com.

NOVEMBER 12: Foothill Ranch Library Writers Support & Critique Group Zoom meeting. Read your work and be prepared to provide critique to others. This free group meets weekly from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Contact stella.carruth@occr.ocgov.com for more information and for the Zoom invite.

NOVEMBER 14: The monthly meeting of the Orange County chapter of Romance Writers of America will feature “Cozy Mystery Madness,” a presentation by New York Times best-selling cozy mystery author Kate Carlisle, starting at 10 a.m. The presentation will take place on Zoom and requires pre-registration. $5 for OCCRWA members and others. http://occrwa.org/chapter-meetings.

NOVEMBER 14: Book Carnival will host a virtual event with authors Archer Mayor (The Orphan’s Guilt), Paula Munier (Blind Search), Julia Spencer-Fleming (Hid From Our Eyes), and Sara Stewart Taylor (The Mountains Wild) speaking about their books at 10 a.m. on Zoom.
