Regardless which path to publication you are pursuing, whether you’re a writer just starting out, a writer unable to determine why your work’s not working, a writer simply in search of some answers, a writer wanting feedback on what you’ve written, or just a writer who wants to hang with other writers and publishing professionals in a safe, supportive community, do yourself a favor and join us for the 31st Annual Southern California Writers’ Conference (and Retreat) in San Diego. Your words are worth it!

This month’s SCWA meeting will be held on Saturday February 18th 10:00 am at the Claim Jumper in Fountain Valley. The fee is $35.00 for non-members and $25.00 for members, and includes an all-you-can-eat lunch, speaker, and time to network with published and unpublished authors! Reservations are suggested, but walk-ins are also welcome.

O.C. Sisters in Crime
Sunday, February 26, 2:00 pm
USA Today and Amazon best-selling author Rebecca Forster will be the guest speaker at the February meeting of O.C. Sisters in Crime. The So Cal-based Forster is the author of 29 books, including the Josie Bates “Witness” thriller series and the recent Finn O’Brien thrillers. The meeting will be held Sunday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Irvine Ranch Water District, at 15500 Sand Canyon Ave., Irvine. The room is on the northeast side of the parking lot. The meeting will open with a Reader’s Forum. The topic: “Let’s share: Tell us what you’re reading lately.” Forster will speak afterward. The public is invited. No reservations are necessary.
