APRIL 19-25: The Mission Viejo Library will host its popular Comic Fest in a virtual format each night via Zoom from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. For free registration and details, visit https://cityofmissionviejo.org/departments/library.

APRIL 20: O.C. Writers’ All-Genre Critique Group is an opportunity for writers to get and give feedback on participants’ work-in-progress. The program takes place at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. Meetings are free and open to the public. The group is currently full. To be added to the waitlist, send an email to group leader Cee Cee Wakefield at info@oc-writers.com.

APRIL 21: Literary Orange will present an online event with New York Times best-selling author Lisa Wingate at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $25 and includes a copy of The Book of Lost Friends. A discount is available if attending all four Literary Orange events. Register at https://literaryorange.org/reg.

APRIL 22: O.C. Writers’ weekly Roundtable discussion group, featuring writing and publishing business topics, takes place from 10:30 to noon on Zoom. Meetings are free and open to the public. To receive Zoom access information, email Roundtable leader Casey Dorman at info@oc-writers.com.

APRIL 22: Foothill Ranch Library Writers Support & Critique Group Zoom meeting. Read your work and be prepared to provide critique to others. This free group meets weekly from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Contact stella.carruth@occr.ocgov.com for more information and for the Zoom invite.

APRIL 24: Naranja Dulcea will present the What is Genre Craft Talk at 9-10:15 a.m. ($25). A write-in will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon ($15). Both events take place at Arvida Book Co, 115 W. Main St., Tustin. www.naranjadulceca.com.

APRIL 25: O.C. Sisters in Crime will present an online panel discussion with literary agents, including Michelle Richter and Lori Calvin, at 3 p.m. as part of the group’s monthly meeting. For details, visit www.ocsistersincrime.org.
