Temptation. We all face it in one form or another.
It can be a deadly distraction or a marketer’s dream. As writers, we must play both sides of the coin: avoid the pitfalls that take us away from our writing and publishing goals, and use it to attract new readers to our work.
This February, we’re bringing you the best advice we have to deal with and use temptation.
It’s tempting . . .
- to jump into indie publishing without spending the time (and money!) to make sure our work is professional.
- to pursue traditional publishing because we think it’s the only way to be taken seriously.
- to avoid reaching out to our fans and readers because we’re introverts.
- to set aside your work in progress for the shiny new project on the horizon.
Let’s explore our temptations together!
