We’ve partnered with Chad and Linda Kearns, owners of A Stone’s Throw Winery, to bring you Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem Sundays every other month. On Sunday, October 29th, from 2-5 pm, multi-award winning author Eric Peterson and five amazing Fictionaires (Greta’s very own critique group) will be reading, Eclectic Blends will be serenading, wine will be flowing, and raffle prizes will be awarded. Come out and support your local author community!
Where: A Stones Throw Winery, 29943 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675
When: 2 – 5 pm, Sunday, October 29th
Who:
Eric Peterson’s most recent novel, The Dining Car, won the IBPA’s Benjamin Franklin Gold Award for Popular Fiction, the San Diego Book Award Gold Medal for Contemporary Fiction, and the Readers’ Favorite Book Award Silver Medal for Literary Fiction.
In the novel, a former college football star embarks on a life-changing journey when he signs on as bartender and personal valet to a legendary food writer and social critic who travels the country by private railroad car.
For more than 40 years, the Orange County Fictionaires has been a creative home to dozens of professional writers, including bestselling authors Elizabeth George, T. Jefferson Parker, Debra Holland, and National Book Award winner Neal Shusterman.
In their first anthology of short stories, you will discover a collection of riveting fiction crafted by some of Orange County’s finest authors. There’s talent, yes. As well as skilled, experienced storytelling. But there’s also something more: A spark of exhilaration that arises from the encouragement and enthusiasm of our fellow Fictionaires.
