October is a spook-tacular month at O.C. Writers! We’ll help you develop better monsters, craft spectacular villains, and create the heroes who can defeat them. We’ll tackle our fears as writers, how to use fear as a tool for productivity, and build up our own courage in the face of writing adversity. We’re even going to talk about the ghosts among us — the ghost writers, that is!
Contributors include our perennial favorites, Jeffrey J Michaels and Elizabeth Conte, returning greats Diane Rogers and Lisanne Harrington, and a few new voices, including Phillip McCollum and Kimberly Peticolas.

Murdery, Mystery & Mayhem at A Stone’s Throw Winery!
San Juan Capistrano’s newest, oldest winery is featuring local writers! We’ve partnered with Chad and Linda Kearns, owners of A Stone’s Throw Winery, to bring you Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem Sundays every other month. On Sunday, October 29th, from 2-5 pm, multi-award winning author Eric Peterson and five amazing Fictionaires will be reading, Eclectic Blends will be serenading, wine will be flowing, and raffle prizes will be awarded.
