When it comes to writing and publishing, changes are always and inevitably around the corner, and I’d like to let you know about a change coming to O.C. Writers, specifically to OC-Writers.com.
For the past few years, OC-Writers.com has offered local writers an online place to showcase their work, learn from a roster of savvy contributors willing to share their expertise, and discover local literary events. But as the group has evolved, our writers are turning more to the Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/OCWriters) and in-person events, including the weekly write-ins and monthly lunches. So, going forward, that is where we will turn our attention.
Nothing will change immediately. The posts and information currently available on OC-Writers.com will continue to be available through the end of 2024.
Despite the upcoming changes, O.C. Writers will continue to be the welcoming place for published and aspiring authors with opportunities to support, encourage, and learn from each other, hone our craft, and stay up to date on the ever-changing world of publishing.
