MAY 4: O.C. Writers’ All-Genre Critique Group is an opportunity for writers to get and give feedback on participants’ work-in-progress. The program takes place at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. MAY 5: Book Carnival will host a virtual event with author Marc Cameron to discuss Bone Rattle, an Arliss Cutter novel, at 7 p.m. https://www.annesbookcarnival.com/events.
MAY 6: O.C. Writers’ weekly Roundtable discussion group, featuring writing and publishing business topics, takes place from 10:30 to noon on Zoom. Meetings are free and open to the public. To receive Zoom access information, email Roundtable leader Casey Dorman at info@oc-writers.com.
MAY 6: The Friends of the Huntington Beach Public Library will host a free online event at 4 p.m. with author Susan Meissner to discuss her work. Registration is required. www.fotlhb.com.
MAY 6: Foothill Ranch Library Writers Support & Critique Group Zoom meeting. Read your work and be prepared to provide critique to others. This free group meets weekly from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Contact stella.carruth@occr.ocgov.com for more information and for the Zoom invite.

MAY 8: Naranja Dulcea will present a write-in from 10:30 a.m. till noon. ($15). The event will take place at Arvida Book Co, 115 W. Main St., Tustin. www.naranjadulceca.com.
