AUGUST 10: Writer Wellness, A Writer’s Path to Health and Creativity, an online class conducted by Joy Held and offered by the Orange County chapter of Romance Writers of America, will begin on August 10 and run through September 6. AUGUST 11: O.C. Writers’ All-Genre Critique Group is an opportunity for writers to get and give feedback on participants’ work-in-progress. The program takes place at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. AUGUST 13: Sleepless in Laguna will feature young adult author and poet Sara Salam discussing her books and poetry as part of the shop’s virtual Local Author Interview series at 5 p.m. Attendance is free. For more information, visit https://sleepless.love/events.
AUGUST 14: Laguna Beach Books will present award-winning author T. AUGUST 15: The Southern California Writers Association’s monthly meeting will include “Creating Dynamic Characters and Standing With Your Characters,” a discussion with Stacey Evans Morgan.
