AUGUST 4: O.C. Writers’ All-Genre Critique Group is an opportunity for writers to get and give feedback on participants’ work-in-progress. The program takes place at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. AUGUST 5: The O.C. Writers’ Home But Not Alone Virtual Write-in is back on a new day and at a new time! Look for two 50-minute writing sprints, which will kick off at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on an O.C. Writers Facebook Event page. https://www.facebook.com/events/372635473698782.
AUGUST 6: O.C. Writers’ weekly Roundtable discussion group, featuring writing and publishing business topics, takes place from 10:30 to noon on Zoom. Meetings are free and open to the public. To receive Zoom access information, email Roundtable leader Casey Dorman at info@oc-writers.com.
AUGUST 6: Sleepless in Laguna will feature author Terry Black discussing his first romance book, My Trashy Romance, as part of the shop’s virtual Local Author Interview series at 5 p.m. Attendance is free. For more information, visit https://sleepless.love/events.
